About
As a pale dude who grew up in a beach town, I preferred the UV-free glow of a computer screen. My idea of an epic Saturday night was (and still is) a 12-hour LAN party.
I came of age on AOL chat rooms and Battle.net lobbies, tinkering with my Dell Dimension↗︎ and zapping myself on its power supply.
My first website was a collection of Flash games for my friends to play in computer class. All the fun sites were blocked by our school’s firewall.
I’ve been building web things ever since as a software engineer, but like many Millennials, I miss the simple days of the small web↗︎. This blog is my attempt to stir up some of that old spirit.
Other things: I like old computers, breakfast diners, Faroese doom metal↗︎, and traveling the world with my wife.
Check out what I’m up to now.
